ALPHA
What Is ALPHA?
It is a DVD course on the foundations of Christianity. Each week a different aspect of Christianity is presented, then you discuss what was presented at your tables. Whether you have been raised to know Jesus Christ, or are searching for answers, you will come away from this program with a closer relationship to Jesus. Each Alpha session follows a set format, always starting with fellowship (food!). After sharing a meal, the group watches a talk, each week focusing on a different topic/question about faith. Finally, we discuss the talk in small groups, though it's also okay to quietly absorb the material. Whether you haven’t been to church in a while, have just returned, or come every week, you are invited to come and join us as we strive to become joyful missionary disciples by learning about our Catholic Christian faith in an open, non-judgmental way. If you have participated in ALPHA at another parish, and would like to be part of our leadership team and/or host a table, please contact Sue Crudgington at [email protected]. Thanks! |
