From the Fourth Grade Teacher
Fourth grade is a fun year of learning! In Science, students use hands-on activities and media experiences to study various aspects of rocks and soil, energy, and the environment. They complete novel studies to make deeper connections of books. Students will also enhance their vocabulary by learning new words. Then they continue to study mathematic operations and work to become mathematic thinkers. Writing in all subjects helps to become better writers. The continued study of Michigan and American social studies helps students grow as citizens. Each student’s faith grows as they learn more about the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, and Virtues. Fourth grade is a great time of learning, building friendships with peers, and growing a deeper friendship with Jesus.
