Welcome to 5th-8th Grade Religion
5th grade religion - 5th grade religion has heavy focus on the seven sacraments, the sanctifying grace received in the seven sacraments, and the teachings of Jesus Christ with His institution of the seven sacraments. Fifth grade uses the Blest Are We book series, and the Pflaum Gospel Weekly series that coincides with the lectionary readings of the week’s Sunday gospel.

6th grade religion -
This year we will dig deep into the Old Testament to see how it connects us to Christ. This will be a year of reading scripture, learning exciting stories of the faith filled people of God, and deepening our relationship with God and the church. Students will also use the Pflaum Gospel Weekly series that coincides with the lectionary readings of the week’s Sunday gospel.

7th grade religion - This year we will break into the Gospels! We will look at and compare the gospels looking at the deeper teachings and meanings of the Good News! We will truly spend the year walking with Jesus in his life long mission.
Students will also use the Pflaum Gospel Weekly series that coincides with the lectionary readings of the week’s Sunday gospel.

8th grade religion -
This year we will pick up at Pentecost and dive into the acts of the apostles, journeys, of Paul, and the history of the Church.  We will also get to know ourselves as young men and women of the church with the Decision Points program.
