B.A. in Elementary Education with a History Endorsement
M.A. in Reading and Literacy
I have been teaching in the Archdiocese of Detroit for 20 years and have been in both third and first grades. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, Andrew and Miranda (10th and 8th grade).
From the First Grade Teacher
I joined the St. Fabian family in 2020. I love being a teacher and spending time with my students. My favorite part of the day is reading at the carpet, where students gather to sing, read stories, and learn important reading skills. This time is filled with wonder and giggles! In my first-grade classroom, students find a joy for learning and growing both academically and spiritually. First grade is a time for laying a strong foundation in all subjects, and this is done in a fun, hands-on, encouraging way!
