About Me
Mrs. Garbacz has been teaching for over 10 years, starting with 2nd grade here at St. Fabian in 2003. She left to start her family but returned as a Learning Teacher Specialist in 2012. After doing that for 2 years, she left and taught 2nd grade for 8 years before coming back to teach 2nd grade at St. Fabian this year. Her husband is an engineer at Ford Motor Company and they have two teenaged boys, Christopher and Nathan.
From the Second Grade Teacher
I am so excited to be back teaching 2nd grade at St. Fabian. My commitment is to help 2nd graders reach their potential and prepare them for Reconciliation and First Communion. Each day, we spend time learning as a whole class and in small groups. We use technology to enhance our learning, including Vocabulary A to Z, Kahoot, Khan Academy, Khan Academy Kids, and Prodigy. As a teacher, I have the chance to get to know each student and develop a relationship with each one. Each unique personality brings something to our learning experience in 2nd grade!
