CYO Updates
- We are in desperate need of coaches for next season, please contact me if you or anyone you know is interested:
- Volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, bowling, baseball/softball. If we cannot find coaches then we will not have a team for that age group, is vital that we find coaches for our student athletes.
- Reminder to register for our summer camps, this is a great opportunity for the kids to stay active and work on their skills while on summer break, CYO website for more information:
- girls basketball camp
- boys basketball camp
- volleyball camp
- Motor City Evolution Basketball Camp
- Thank you, Dad's club, for a new concession refrigerator.
- Thank you, Mom's club, for your donation to help with concessions.
- We are looking to purchasing another volleyball net system that way we can have dual practices at the same time, this will make it convenient for coaches, players, and travel plans for parents.
- Thank you to Spencer Woodward (Boy Scouts) and our volunteers for renovating the baseball/softball field. As well as thanks to the Oakland reds travel baseball team for helping with field renovations and putting the fence up along 12 mile.
- We have invested in our basketball program by purchasing a basketball rebounder for practices and camps. This allows coaches to enhance practice as well as increase our shots in practices to nearly 1,000 shots per hour. This is a great tool that our student athletes will be able to use, we are mostly likely the only Catholic middle school to have basketball rebounder.
- CYO Donation button can be found on the CYO webpage below board members/above CYO circle. This can be a one-time payment or monthly. The proceeds will be used for new equipment and gym upgrades to help grow our youth sports. CYO is dedicated to our student athletes to ensure that we can provide the very best facility, culture, and experience, thank you!
