Jubilee of Hope

Christmas Eve marked the start of the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025. The theme of the jubilee is “Pilgrims of Hope.” “Since 1300, jubilee celebrations have marked not only the passing of years and centuries but have also served as holy times in human history…Hope, by which we desire heaven and trust in God’s promise of eternal life, makes us a pilgrim church journeying in confidence toward our true home” (Archbishop Vigneron). 

Save the Date! Join us on February 10, 2025, for a special presentation by David J. Conrad, M.A. Theology, on this Jubilee Year of Hope. Dinner will be offered at 6, with the presentation from 6:30 - 8 in the Social Hall. Topics will include:

• What is Jubilee?
• Obtaining Indulgences (with a brief primer on sin and its effects)
• Pilgrimage Sites in the Archdiocese
• The Virtue of Hope​
