A Fond Farewell to Mrs. Vicky Donovan
Dear Saint Fabian Families,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I will be retiring at the end of this school year. God has blessed me with twenty five wonderful years at St. Fabian and I have taught in the Archdiocese of Detroit for over 40 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my years here at St. Fabian and all of you will hold a special place in my heart. Although I am looking forward to this new exciting chapter in my life, I am going to miss everyone. Working here has been a pleasure and I have developed lifelong friendships along the way. Of course, the one thing I will miss the most is seeing those smiling faces as I entered the classroom each day. The students are always so eager to start their day and so excited when they finally understand what I am presenting to them. I have worked with countless students over the years providing not just instruction, but offering guidance and support. I will always carry this in my heart. Nothing has given me more pleasure then to see or hear where my former students end up in life. I want to wish everyone all the best in the years ahead. Please carry on the great tradition that St. Fabian is noted for. God bless each and every one of you for all your kindness and support you have shown towards me. Fondly, Vicky Donovan |
