Farmington/Farmington Hills Parish Task Force

Over the past two years, all of the parishes in the Archdiocese of Detroit have been working on “Together In Faith” (TIF), a united effort to discover the strengths and weaknesses of all of our parishes. This has been accomplished by having each parish complete a “Parish Evaluation Inventory” (PEI). The PEI for St. Fabian has been available on our web site since its completion a year ago. Through the PEI’s different recommendations have been given by the Archdiocese to vicariates and to individual parishes. It has been recommended to the seven parishes in the Farmington/Farmington Hills area that a task force be formed to develop a three to five year strategic plan that will address changing demographics and the fact that two pastors are at or near retirement age.

Following that recommendation the task force has been formed, consisting of the pastor, a staff person, and a lay person from each of the seven parishes affected. This task force has met three times so far, and has begun the groundwork in developing the strategic plan needed for our area. Below are the minutes from each of our meetings thus far.
